Here is Baxter, a 5 month old pit bull/husky mix. We think he's adorable but maybe we're just partial!
Activities: Chase me! Tennis ball. Eating dirt & sand.Favourite Parks: Belmont Harbor
Favourite Treats: Milk bones! Dad's shoe laces. Hoof toys.
About Me: I have a funny looking brother named Balthazaar (turtle). My gums are killing me right now since I'm getting big boy teeth. I love to go shopping in my parent's room for socks & underwear. I just got my own room for when I have to stay by myself, like they don't trust me or something! I love my neighbor friend Kirbie and seem to make friends easily.
Our thanks to Amber, Bobby and Baxter for these great photos!

Winston is a special needs boy and is a regular visitor to Dr. Scott Rovner for one problem or another since he was adopted from Chicago Canine Rescue. Hopefully Winston will learn not to swallow his baby's toys and end up back in the hospital for more x-rays!

Here are pictures of Maia (swimming with stick) and Faith (on the beach), who have been seeing Dr. Rovner ever since they can remember. Dr. Rovner once took care of them when they were doused with gasoline after an accident (long story). Dr. Rovner performed double ACL surgery on Faith who is doing great. Dr. Rovner treats Maia for hypo-thyroidism and she is doing great. They love Dr. Rovner and love getting peanut- butter on a stick at Roscoe Village when they visit.

"Benny" had his first visit to Roscoe Village Animal Hospital.
Everything went great, and the staff and Vet were very attentive and helpful.
Benny is a Manx with a very friendly disposition. He makes a "brrrr-ing" sound; enjoys resting flat on his back, paws up; loves to be combed and brushed. He runs and slides on wood floors, but doesn't always have the best sense of gravity. He loves company and sitting on laps. Benny is FIV-positive. He was adopted in 2005, at age 4-1/2, from the SPCA of Southwest Michigan.
Our thanks to Dave Hunter for these great pictures!

"Patrick & Sandy" have been patients of Roscoe Village for the last 6 months or so and they love everyone there! They are almost 4 years old and were rescued from the pound in Atlanta, GA as puppies (we are new to the Chicago area).
Their cousins, "Nicholas & Mikey" named them after Sponge Bob Square Pants characters. I was told they are black lab/springer spaniel mix but I know them as loveable mutts! They are best friends, brother and sister and mommies loves of her life!
Our thanks to Jane Cumming for this great photo!

her rope toys and loves to give kisses.
Both Daisy and Luc have been seeing Dr. Rovner since they were little babies. Daisy was a sickly 3 1/4 pound runt when she first saw Dr. Rovner, and now she is a happy, healthy 68 pounds! They absolutely adore him and wouldn't think of going to any other Veterinarian!
Our thanks to Lorri Francis for these wonderful photos of her "kids".
Ying-Yang is just turning 1 year old and Dr. Rovner
has been treating him since he was only 3 months
