OUR PHILOSOPHY
We work hard to maintain an excellent staff of doctors, receptionists and technicians. Our staff is a GREAT team, with the right mix of skills and backgrounds, and has been carefully chosen to provide the best care for your pet. All staff members participate in continuing education programs. Most have special interests or areas of expertise within the practice. All, of course, have pets of their own.
MODERN FACILITIES
Sugar Grove Animal Hospital is a state-of-the-art veterinary care facility which includes a modern hospital, surgical unit, radiology and on-site laboratory. For advanced procedures we maintain a full referral service.
YOUR HOSPITALIZED PET
We
know your pet will feel more at ease with you at home, but sometimes sick
patients need services that can only be performed in the hospital. We
strive to keep the length of hospital stays as brief as possible.
While in the hospital your pet will rest comfortably in our general hospital ward. If there is a concern of contagious disease, he/she will stay in the isolation ward. Our wards are quiet and comfortable with soft linens.
CARING ATTENTION
A veterinary assistant is assigned to monitor the condition of each patient, water and food needs, and to provide caring attention.
Our staff will call you often to inform you of your pet's progress. Additionally, our caregivers are available to answer any questions.

Many emergencies can be prevented by timely care of medical problems. Please call as soon as you notice a medical problem to avert an emergency situation. In most cases, after hour emergencies are referred to an after-hours emergency veterinary hospital. Please call our regular number (317) 889-0500 and we will direct you to the nearest veterinary care facility.
